Food. Family. Heritage.Stories and Recipes worth passing down.

Diaspora Queen. Seoul born. Blasian magic.

I’m Betty Edmonds—writer, gardener, home cook, and author of Seoul Food: The Blasian Magic Cookbook. I write about the beautiful in-between of Korean roots and African American experiences, and the recipes that carry both.

God and my ancestors have truly blessed my every step along the way. I am incredibly grateful for the journey that has brought me here and I am so excited to share with you one of my greatest passions—cooking. There is something special about entertaining, creating delicious meals, and watching my family and friends enjoy the food I prepare. Seeing the smiles on their faces, hearing the laughter around the table, and creating memories through food brings me so much joy. Cooking is love, creativity, culture, and connection. I am honored to share my love and passion with you and invite you into my kitchen, my table, and my journey.
